Sophie has a background in producing content for television and digital media. After living and working across Europe, the US, Melbourne, and Perth, Sophie made the educated decision to settle in Margaret River. She is passionate about storytelling, and delivering content in new and unique formats. Engaging audiences through alternative concepts, using humour, and delving into the deeper questions, are at the core of each project she undertakes.

Sophie studied a Masters in Production Design and Producing at The WA Screen Academy & WAAPA in 2009, where she won the Russell Goodrick Award of Excellence. She was nominated for Best Production Designer in the WA Screen Awards that year, for her work on the short film 'Stuffed', and went on to work on a number of West Australian feature films then to Victoria to work in television serial drama. Sophie found her niche professionally, when she moved into the digital industry, working for then award-winning agency Studio Ish (Melbourne) which offered alternative ways to deliver branding to audiences. Here she produced multiple projects for web and smartphone app and developed marketing campaigns for brands such as AFL, Penguin Publishing, the ABC, and King Island Dairy.

Sophie now coordinates marketing projects at Your Margaret River Region including a quarterly magazine, video content and a regional podcast.

Ultimately, Sophie is 'normal' - aka - easy to get along with, honest, approachable, and can learn from mistakes (sometimes these happen!). Business aside, she has a bit of an odd weather obsession and appreciates witty people with excellent personalities.
