Sectors Collide: Industry Start Up Day at Maker + Co. Bunbury

Creative Corner Brings Industry Experts to Bunbury
The Creative Corner is set to host its third industry event for 2016 “Sectors Collide: Industry Start Up Day” at Maker + Co, Bunbury on Thursday 29th June, 2016.

The day brings industry leaders from web and app development, graphic design, photography, copy writing, social media strategy, financial planning, business advising, strategic planning, venture capital and branding to one place for three sessions of a speed dating style format, enabling businesses and individuals to speak to the people they need to take their project, business or idea to the next level.

Following on from the successful “Creative Toolkit Essentials” and flagship event the Emergence Creative Festival earlier in the year, the Creative Corner aims to bring a ‘one-stop-shop’ of experts to Australia’s South West to help boost local businesses and ideas.

Creative Corner Executive Officer Niomi O’Hara said participants will gain a lot from the experience.

“It’ll be a fun day of making connections and taking home some valuable information.

“We’ve got some great people in the mix with a broad range of skills such as venture capitalist Rob Zdravevski, Business Developer Nikki Griffiths, Project Manager Craig Holland, Designer Ian Mutch and Copywriter Sarah Robinson”.

Sectors Collide participants can book a date with an industry leader on the day over three sessions:  Breakfast: 8am – 10am, Lunch: 12pm – 2pm Afternoon: 3pm – 5pm.

Attendees and special guests are invited to stay for the informal networking session from 5:30pm – 7pm, which includes special thanks to retiring SWDC CEO Don Punch.

The cost is $44 or free for Creative Corner members (light meal included in registration).
